Fairly strong volatile acidity detracts from an otherwise pretty nose of entirely secondary aromas marked by ample sous-bois and a certain animale character. While the mid-palate impression of the middle weight flavors is moderately enjoyable, the VA was intrusive on both the nose and finish.
